Created in remembrance of the California fires.

This stone has been in my collection for over 18 years. Each time I look at it, I think of the way nature re-establishes itself after natural disasters. Seeds remain viable underground and find their way to sunlight that was previously obscured by an overhead canopy. Soon vegetation breaks through to start the cycle all over again. This piece is in recognition of the California fires. It represents hope that will eventually overlay the ashes.
